On Saturday 14 February, the heart of Boyup Brook will come alive as the Street Carnival returns to the Boyup Brook Country Music Muster, transforming the town into a vibrant celebration of colour, creativity and family fun. Running from 8:00am to 1:30pm, the carnival invites festival-goers of all ages to wander, watch, play and be surprised at every turn.
Expect roving wonder and interactive performances throughout the streets, from the joyful chaos of Dangerous Delights’ giant bubbles to the mesmerising presence of Mannequins in Motion, Perth’s renowned living statues who blur the line between stillness and spectacle. Enchanted stilt walkers and Top of the Stairs Puppets add height, humour and handcrafted magic for audiences young and old.
Families can dive into hands-on fun with Arty Brellas, a much-loved creative umbrella painting experience created by WA artist Tricia Stedman, while younger festival-goers will enjoy Little People Play, face painting and playful roving entertainment. Thrill-seekers can challenge themselves on the Radrock climbing wall and bungee trampolines, soaring high or tackling the eight-metre wall.
Adding to the atmosphere, talented buskers will line the streets throughout the day, filling Boyup Brook with live music and spontaneous performances at every turn. Acrobatch brings high-energy circus magic to the carnival, rounding out a joyful celebration of community, creativity and connection, and a must-see part of Muster weekend.
