Nominations Open for the 2027 West Australian Country Music Awards

Western Australia's country music talent is once again being called to centre stage, with nominations now officially open for the 2027 West Australian Country Music Awards (WACMAs).

Presented by the Country Music Club of Boyup Brook WA Inc., the awards recognise excellence in country music across the state and celebrate the outstanding artists, musicians and songwriters who continue to strengthen Western Australia's vibrant country music industry.

Now in their latest edition, the WACMAs have become one of the state's most respected music awards programs, providing artists with valuable industry recognition and the opportunity to showcase their work to an independent panel of experienced music industry judges.

Music Director Erlanda Deas said the awards continue to highlight the exceptional calibre of country music being produced throughout Western Australia.

"Each year we're amazed by the diversity and quality of the entries we receive. The awards celebrate artists at every stage of their career, from emerging performers through to well-established recording artists, and we encourage all eligible Western Australian country music artists to enter."

Awards are presented across a range of categories recognising artists, songwriters, albums, EPs, juniors, music videos and emerging talent, with finalists receiving valuable exposure as part of the Boyup Brook Country Music Muster's 40th Anniversary celebrations in February 2027.

Artists who have released eligible music during the qualifying period are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria and submit their nominations before entries close.

Entries open: 1 July 2026

Entries close: 31 August 2026

The 2027 West Australian Country Music Awards will be presented during the Boyup Brook Country Music Muster, celebrating its 40th Anniversary from 19–21 February 2027.
