The Boyup Brook Country Music Festival is a refreshing escape into the heart of country music, blending performances from big names and WA original artists in a friendly, welcoming environment. Held annually in February, this family-oriented music and camping festival offers a hassle-free, fun-filled experience in the picturesque setting of the Music Park. Nestled among mature river gums along the banks of the Blackwood River, the venue comes alive with music, attracting enthusiasts from across the state and beyond. Thousands of visitors in caravans, campers, utes, and trucks converge on Boyup Brook, swelling the town’s population for a few days of joyous music and camaraderie.
This year, we are thrilled to announce that Artist Expressions of Interest for the 2025 Boyup Brook Country Music Festival are now open at www.wacountrymusic.com.au/2025-artist-eoi. This is a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their talent in one of WA’s most beloved music festivals.
In conjunction with the festival, we are also accepting nominations for the 2025 West Australian Country Music Awards. As the premier event on the WA country music calendar, these awards recognize and support artists dedicated to their craft. Open to both professionals and amateurs who have resided in Western Australia for at least five years, the awards celebrate excellence in various categories, including:

Collie-based artist Kate Hindle, a double recipient of the Female Artist of the Year award, exemplifies the career-boosting impact of these accolades. Reflecting on her 2023 win, she shared her joy on social media, saying, “I am absolutely thrilled to announce that last night at the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival, I took out ‘Female Artist of the Year’ for the second year in a row and yes, I cried again. This year was extra special because not only did I win it, but my great friend Codee-Lee won it with me!”
