This year we have the 3 Randy Poets coming.
With his acoustic guitar, harmonica and dry distinctly Australian sense of humour, Errol Gray has his audience in stitches with tall stories and yarns that reflect everyday situations and misfortunes that happen to us all.
Peter Capp is a veteran of many festivals including Gympie Muster, Tamworth, and many years at the Nannup festival. Three times WA yarnspinning champion and former Australian winner, Peter is renowned for his sense of the ridiculous which comes to the fore in his poems and yarns.
Ray Essery is without doubt one of the most highly regarded performing Bush Poets in Australia today. A member of the highly successful ‘Naked Poets’, Ray can leave his audiences in stiches with hilarious tales that reflect his years as a dairy farmer, Navy man and Sydney pub manager.
Put these three together on stage, add a few skits, Errol’s songs, comedy poems and yarns and you are in for one of the funniest shows to be found anywher
e.
