An award-winning singer-songwriter, Ray will bring you along on a soul-fueled journey by sharing his original songs and the stories behind them.

Influenced by the country Americana and folk movement, Ray turns his songwriting to deeply personal life experiences and hard-hitting social issues.

Living in the quiet WA coastal hamlet of Myalup Beach, Ray draws inspiration from his surroundings, along with playing live shows up and down the WA coast.

Working in collaboration with Bill Chambers over the past couple of years in songwriting and recording, Bill recorded and produced Ray's debut album 'Sleeping Rough' which was released in February 2020.

In recent times, Ray has teamed up with 'Aria Hall of Fame' member and Australian music heavyweight Kerryn Tolhurst.

Tolhurst has produced and played on Rays' new music that was released early in 2023 and is currently working on recording a new album.

Ray was nominated for several country music awards, including Album, Single, and Songwriter of the Year in 2022, and winning Male Artist of The Year at the 2023 WA Country Music Awards.

'Sleeping Rough' was number 12 on the Academy of World Artists rankings in the US. 'We Write About Music' in Los Angeles California wrote "Ray Jones is a part of Australia’s country music revival, and we are thrilled to see and hear that he’s leading the charge with such beauty".

Touring in WA and delivering a true singer-songwriter experience to his audience has become a passion for Ray, he will be touring in the north of WA with Codee Lee later in 2023.
