Brandy is a cowgirl and singer-songwriter from Boyup Brook with strong country, folk and rock influences. Brandy’s voice is extremely versatile and unique; her vocal strength has developed over the years giving her the raw power and a huge range we hear today.
With over two decades of singing experience, her musical journey began from the young age of 8 years old when she won her first trophy in a singing competition. Brandy then went on to learn piano to help accompany herself and continued her classical singing training. As a teenager Brandy became the youngest member of the South West Opera Company at the time.
As a young adult she packed her guitar and hit the road, learning songs and singing on her travels, her talent has since taken her to various stages, from local events, campdrafts and rodeos to weddings and private parties. She has also lent her vocals to several pub rock bands in the South West, Great Southern & Kimberly regions of Western Australia, and had the privilege of singing in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee.
Brandy loves to share her voice with others, she loves to get the crowd up and dancing when she plays with her band or sing right to the soul with a paired back acoustic set on her own or surprise you altogether with something unexpected and vocally challenging that she makes look effortless.
Brandy utilises her artistic talents to shed light on important social issues, such as ADHD, anxiety & depression, abuse as well as navigating life,friendships and relationships. Her compelling songwriting serves as a powerful medium to raise awareness and spark meaningful conversations, encouraging open dialogue on challenging topics that women often face.
