Over the course of the last few years, Brandon has firmly established himself as an authentic and sincere songwriter. His lyrics resonate with genuine emotion, delving into themes such as the pursuit of contentment, nostalgia, and the appreciation of those who surround us. Drawing inspiration from renowned artists like Jason Isbell, Tom Petty, Paul Kelly, and Chris Stapleton, Brandon's music places a strong emphasis on meticulously crafted melodies and lyrics that intricately weave a narrative with every line sung. This unique artistic approach has earned Brandon the title of West Australian Male artist of the year as well as six WAM Song of the Year nominations, and the prestigious title of 2023 West Australian Country Group of the Year with his band, Brandon Poletti & The Eagleton Brothers. With a few changed to their line-up the band is now called The Southern Dukes.

Brandon's journey began in 2016 when, as a 20-year-old, he grappled with stage fright while making his debut on Perth's live music circuit. At that time, he bravely performed songs that had previously only been heard within the confines of his own room. Fast forward six years, and this once-nervous young man has blossomed into a self-assured performer capable of captivating audiences and delivering polished performances with the finesse of a seasoned pro.

In recent years, Brandon has been consistently putting out new music, including multiple singles, three EPs, and his most recent release, his debut album titled "Now In Hindsight." This album showcases his skillful songwriting, drawing inspiration from his own life experiences. Each song has some personal significance, which is somewhat surprising given his usual lack of sentimentality. Nevertheless, these songs capture moments in his life, both positive and negative, allowing him, as a songwriter, to connect with others who may have shared similar experiences through his music.
